7.

In the darkness, I feel my way through my voice coming back at me, telling me stop. I drop a hint to tell me how deep I am in. I leave the faucet on for directions. Pretty much I am thinking of what the squeaking floorboards mean. When P— asked me about my favorite thing, I told him I still have his pen. Depending on my mood I would have told him I collect words he tells me when the two of us are alone, or that I lost my favorite thing to a fire.
