The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction

13

I think I was in line when you posted
“cotton guns, date in the eyes, shine
baby shine.”

You were obscure. We were
relieved you were back
to your old self.

I supposed that’s what happens
when psychoanalysis meets
ET meets iTunes.

When you said, “see you in a bit”
I knew I’ll never see you again
even if you were there.

People
woke up
to your new design.
